Mrs. Annie Lee Hardin

Annie Lee Williams Hardin was born on October 30, 1938 in Terrell, Texas. She was a cherished daughter of the late Riley Williams and Bertha Hearne Williams. She was the youngest of two daughters. She loved her dear sister, the late Margaret Williams Birdow.

She accepted Christ at an early age at New Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Terrell, Texas. She married the late Alvin Lee Hardin, Sr., and to this union five children were born. Annie Lee Hardin was a devoted nurse, a beloved family member, and a compassionate friend. She dedicated her life to her kids and caring for others. She graduated from Burnett High School, attended Texas College for nursing, and began a lifetime career in nursing. She worked at Terrell State Hospital for over 30 years where she retired early and continued
working as a Home Health Care Nurse. She loved nursing. She was known for her gentle touch, tireless work ethic, deep empathy, and touched countless lives both in and out of the hospital. Colleagues admired her professionalism, and patients remembered her kindness long after leaving her care. She was “Doctor Annie Lee”. Annie Lee was stocked to treat any
ailment. She was an avid reader of anything medical, loved crossword puzzles, her poodles and cats.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her five children, Alvin Lee Hardin Jr., Terrell, TX, Pamela Rena Allen (the late Anthony Allen), Mesquite, TX , Terry Wayne Hardin, Rockwall TX, Donna Lynn Scott (Robert Scott Sr.) Frisco, TX, and David Earl Hardin, Terrell, Texas. Ten grandchildren: Troy Hardin, Aaliyah Allen, Avana Allen, A’Kayla Allen, Sabrina Hardin, Salena
Hardin (Jaquon), Sharde Hardin, Nathan Hardin, Robert Scott, Jr. (Stacey), Jacquetta Baker (Barrett). Twelve great-grandchildren: Aura Denson, Cleverly Hardin, Written Hardin, Taylor Hardin, Kamron Hardin, Ryan Hardin, Amara Scott, Robert Scott III, Danaja Baker, Dakhiya Baker, Dakota Baker, and Danyria Baker; and nieces, nephews. Her forever daughter-in-law, Felicia Hardin and her best friend of 50 years Thelma Dale Smith (Aunt Dale). Her family will forever cherish her warmth, laughter, and wisdom.
