Freddie Land III was born on May 8, 1953 with his twin brother Frankie to the
parentage of Fred “Pete” and Betty Primus Land in Savannah, GA.
Freddie attended Terrell Public Schools and graduated from El Centro College with
an Associate Degree.
In his youth, Freddie attended Mount Olive Baptist Church. After he accepted
Christ, he became a minister at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Terrell, two other
times to Teresa Ellis and Rhonda Lynn.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred “Pete” and Betty Primus Land,
brother, Linzell Land, two nephews, Steven Land, and Steven Cathcart.
He leaves to cherish his memories his daughter, Tamekya (Anthony); caregiver and
first wife, Barbara; grandsons, Demond King and Taji Small; twin brother, Frankie;
6 sisters, Johnnie Mae, Betty, Judy (Charlie), Carolyn, Sandra (Al), and Mary; a
special friend, Peggy Evans, and a host of relatives and friends.
