12-27-1966 to 05-09-2025
Terry Lynette Tucker’s life began on December 27, 1966, in Terrell Texas. The proud
parents of this adorable baby girl were Tommy L. Tucker and the late Linda B. Tucker.
On Friday May 9, 2025, Terry received her release from this earthly life to her Heavenly
reward. Our mother was preceded in transition by her mother and brothers Kieth Tucker,
Bradley Tucker and Gary Tucker.
The only girl in a family of boys, Terry attended schools in Terrell ISD and was a proud
graduate of Terrell High School in 1985. She attended Trinity Valley Community College
where she completed a state-approved practical nursing program. After receiving her
Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) certification, Terry worked as a dedicated nurse for
over 25 years.
Terry accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a young age and attended Union
Valley Baptist Church in Terrell. After moving from Terrell to Dallas, she attended and
joined Christian Stronghold Church where she served faithfully for 22 years. Terry
served as the leader of the Culinary/Hospitality Ministry at Christian Stronghold for 15
years and led with love, warm hospitality, and special attention to detail and order. She
also served on the Pastoral Care Ministry, where she led the Bereavement Team with
care and compassion for all families. Even when she was no longer able to be present,
Terry made it a point to coordinate the church’s bereavement needs with dignity,
consistency, and excellence.
Affectionately called “Aunt Terry” and “Nana,” Terry’s loving and faithful comedic humor
will be missed by her family and friends. Known for her delicious food including her
sweet tea and her mouthwatering dressing, Terry loved cooking, fellowshipping, and
spending time with family and friends. She demonstrated the love of Christ to everyone
she met; and her beautiful smile, fun personality, and quick wit will be missed.
Forever cherishing her memories are beloved daughters Tamara Roberts-Geter
(Christopher) and Tiffani Roberts of Mesquite, Texas; her father, Reverend Tommy
Tucker, brothers, Byron Tucker, Brandon (Equilla) Tucker, Bryan Tucker and Aunt Hattie
Ware, all of Terrell, Texas; four grand- children: DeNarius Roberts-Geter, Tytana
Roberts, Christopher (CJ) Geter, Jr., and Cameron Geter; two great grandchildren:
Carter Roberts-Geter and Cayden Roberts-Geter; special niece: Tyeshia Jones; special

The last time I saw my friend she greeted me with her usual vibrant smile. The Class of 85 will surely miss you, but Terry thanks for the memories. Gone, but never forgotten. Prayers for the Tucker family:) 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”
To the Tucker family, we the children of Danny, Ronny, And Diane Beck, want you to know that we already miss Terry. we watched you grow up in our back yard, in Terrell tx. playing with Sheryl. we will cherish those memories. The Beck family.
The last time we talked was embracing one another at our favorite Walmart Supercenter in Mesquite. We always had long conversations of just reminiscing on past times and our classmates of Terrell High School Class of 1985’.. i met you at Burnett Elementary School in Mrs Delores Crawford’s 3rd grade class. What an honor to have known a woman of dignity throughout many years. Our deepest condolences to The Tucker Family.
